Barrass, Richard "Dick" passed away on January 24, 2009 in Mesa, Arizona, he was 86 years old. He was born on April 4, 1922 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was an electrical engineer. He moved to Kearny, Arizona in 1960 and worked as a Maintenance Superintendant for Kennecott Copper Corp. He is survived by his wife of 60yrs, Vera Mae Barrass of Mesa, two sons Gary (Jill) of Gilbert, AZ and Keith (Jeannette) of Los Alamos, New Mexico, five grandchildren: Kelly Williams of New York, Casey and Amy Barras of Arizona, Adam Barras of New Mexico, and Laura Barras of Nevada: two Great Grandchildren, Tobiah and Harper Barras of New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper, Gilbert, AZ. Interment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona following services. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ. |
