Andrew Jack Nelson, Sr.

Andrew Jack Nelson, Sr., age 82, died March 26, 2006, in Prescott.
He was born April 27, 2923, in Ogden, Utah, to Lloyd and Laura
(Keyser) Nelson.

Andrew was a self-made man that began working on his own at the age
of 11. He worked as a homebuilder selling "Jack Nelson Dream Homes."

He was a member of the Prescott Frontier Rotary Club. Andrew was a
life-long Rotarian and became the District Governor of District 5260
from 1970 until 1971. He was able to travel the world with rotary
and help organize the (Rotary) Rescue Mission in Peru after the
Earthquake.

Andrew is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Prescott, they shared 63
years together; his two sons, Jack (Shirley) Nelson of Prescott, and
Jerry Nelson of Palmdale, Calif. and his daughter Bonnie (Tom)
Cormier of Dewey. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 30
great-grandchildren and his great-great-grandchild.

He loved all his family and will be missed dearly by his family and
friends.

A visitation will be held for Andrew between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00
p.m. on April 1, 2006, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley,
Ariz., with Commemoration Services at 12:00 p.m. at the Sunrise
Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Burial will follow the services at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery
in Dewey, Ariz.

The family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Andrew be
made to Rotary RYLA Youth Program c/o Jeanie Morgan at P.O. Box 2746
Lake Havasu, Arizona, 86405.
