Thomas Forde Roper, 75, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died Jan. 16, 2007.

Roper served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart.

Roper was preceded by a sister, Jeannie; and is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughters Renee, of Phoenix, Robin, of Colorado; stepsons Brian [Sandra], Jodie [Pam] and Chadd, all of Illinois; brothers Norbert, of Illinois, Robert [Marge], of Florida; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial Mass was held Jan. 13 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
