| Gerald Stephen Kumpe, 55, of Coolidge and a home builder, died Oct. 4, 2006 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. The memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with the Rev. Harry Bowlyn officiating. A dinner will follow at The Gardens House. Mr. Kumpe was born Aug. 7, 1951 in Paris, France. He owned and operated Stephen Homes, which builds in area communities. Survivors include two sisters, Carol Pujos and Karen Garcia.
