Born in Perry County, Kentucky on Jan. 20, 1942.
Departed on Jul. 29, 2008 and resided in Sedona, Ariz.

Jasper Combs, 66, of the Oak Creek Valley of Sedona, Ariz., died July 29, 2008. He was born January 20, 1942 in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of Amon Combs and Florence Wooten Combs.

He was a graduate of Buckhorn elementary and high school.

Mr. Combs had been the owner of The Liberty Theater Gift Shop in Jerome and Sylvia Ann's in Sedona. His hobbies included fixing hot rods, fishing and the construction of homes. He is remembered by his family as a wonderful husband and family man.

He leaves his wife of 33 years, Sylvia Combs; four children, two stepchildren and many grandchildren. He also laves a brother John of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Ruby White of West Covina, Calif. and Dot Blackman of Ruby, Virginia.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the church's building Fund: A.C.T. Fund, 700 N. Bill Gray Rd., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326
