Sharon M. Platt Born in Canyon City, Colorado on Mar. 22, 1942. Departed on July 10, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Sharon M. Platt, 66, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died July 10, 2008. She was born March 22, 1942, in Canyon City, Colo., the daughter of Carl E. Holt and Edna Mae Holt. She attended Clark Hayden High School. Mrs. Platt worked for Red Dale, Battle Mountain High School and Kingsley Management Corporation. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Florence and the Eagle Baptist Church of Eagle. She enjoyed ceramics and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Linton R. Platt; a son, Lee R. Platt (and his wife Leslie) of Federal Heights, Colo.; two daughters, Joy L. Zabroski (David) of Thornton, Colo., and Lori L. Cress (James) of Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Carl E. Holt, Jr. (Carol, Lonnie Holt (Diana) of Fairfield, Calif. and Phil Holt (Gaye) of Cornville, Ariz. She is also survived by two sisters, Beth Cochran (Carl) of Florence, Ariz., Nola Brieling (Norby) of Wisconsin; a brother-in-law, Leland Platt (Anne) of Longmont, Colo.; and a sister-in-law Karen Mayer (Glen) of Platteville, Colo.; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
