| Norman Scott Boyle Born in Lehi, Arizona on Aug. 12, 1926. Departed on Dec. 17, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Norman Scott Boyle, also known and loved as (Scotty), passed away at his Cottonwood home on Dec. 17, 2007, at the age of 81. He was born in Lehi, Arizona on August 12, 1926 to Orson and Carrie (Shill) Boyle. Norman attended the Mesa High School - graduating in 1944. For a short time following high school, he attended Arizona State University before serving his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Scotty married Mildred V. (Billie) McCarty in Mesa in 1952. He worked throughout most of the western United States as a Union Brick-Mason. Scotty enjoyed his time on the west coast, and many times would find himself on its ocean beaches. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his family, which he dearly loved. Scotty was also an avid reader and quite a history buff -especially on the Mormon Battalion. Scotty is preceded in death by his parents, Orson and Carrie Boyle; wife of 38 years, Mildred V. Boyle, who passed away in 1991; his grandson, Jason Boyle; as well as, four brothers, Edwin “Cy”, Gail, Darrel and Jim Boyle. He leaves behind two sons, Michael with his wife, Karen of St. Johns, Ariz., and Gail of Camp Verde, Ariz.; two daughters, Carol and Donna, both of Mesa, Ariz.; his sister, Ruth Lucchesi of Payson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, John (Kelly), Jodie, Jacob (Maria), Quentin, Ryan, Diane, Billie, Casey, and Jessye; as well as, three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mesa, Arizona - Lehi Ward on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with a ½ hour prior viewing.
