Homer Lee McDuffy, 69, of Cottonwood died on Thursday, February 6th. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on February 20, 1933.

He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of the Roanoke Bible College and Emmanuel School of Religion. He was a a member of the Verde Valley Christian Church.

Mr. McDuffy is survived by his wife Norma J.; a daughter: Joy Goodearl of Cottonwood, Ariz.; two sons: Michael McDuffy of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sean McDuffy of Georgia; sisters; Mary McDuffy of Wilmington, North Carolina and Mary Green of Newport, North Carolina ; a brother: Nathan McDuffy of Wilmington, North Carolina and four grandchildren.

A memorial was held on Tuesday, February 11th at the Verde Valley Christian Church. VFW Post # 7400 of Cottonwood provided military honors. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Arizona, assisted the family with arrangements.
