Ronald E. Mudge, "Ronny" of Prescott Valley, Ariz., died January 17th, six days shy of his 72nd birthday after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Mr. Mudge, "The Building Medic," was a native of Chicago who had lived in the tri-city area for nearly 20 years. His motto, "A word given is a word kept," was the strongest of the convictions that made up the standards by which he lived. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed horseback riding and hiking in the mountains he knew and loved.

To those who knew him, Ronny was an intrepid friend, a loyal companion and a bright, sagacious conversationalist. Although he has no immediate survivors, he was an accidental family man twice over and enjoyed all of the richness that a life as a father and husband can offer.

Wherever there is positivity in the world, his light is surely shining. He will be missed.

Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
