Christine Grimalda Born in Funta de Conte, Slovenia on Sep. 4, 1926. Departed on Sep. 8, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Christine Grimalda, 82, resident of Cottonwood passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 in Flagstaff. She was the daughter of Giuseppe Tomsic and Gregorina Kugercha; being born in Funta de Conte, Slovenia on September 4, 1926. Christine experienced much in her life; she was a Concentration Camp survivor; and later in her life she became the co-founder and co-owner of Pacific Flexible Metal located in Los Angeles, California. The parts made were used by NASA's Aerospace Program. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Grimalda. Christine leaves behind Marcello and Anita Grimalda, Rina Mongini, Piero and Guia Grimalda, Necki Springer; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews and European Relatives. A Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rosary will begin at 10:30am with the Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, c/o Building Fund, 700 N.
