Richard (Dick) Singer, 79, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Dick was born in Rapid City, S.D., on Sept. 16, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alyce Singer.

Dick was a life member of the Aspen, Colo., Elks Lodge #224 and the Prescott Moose Lodge #319, and was an associate member of the Prescott Elks Lodge #330. He was actively involved in the Colorado 500 Charity Dirt Bike Ride for 33 years.

Dick is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne; his daughters Kay Addrisi (Frank), Karen Parker (Rick), Lynn Hornecker (Mark), six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and brothers Bob Singer (Audrey) and Doug Singer (Doris).

Sunrise Funeral Home has been entrusted with private cremation arrangements.
