| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, January 26, 2009 Mary C. Leyva Sanchez age 83 passed from this life into the loving arms of our Lord Jan. 23, 2009 in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Dec. 8, 1925 in Drake, Ariz. to Dionisio Bustos and Mary (Trujillo) Leyva. Mary being the youngest of 13 children was raised in the Drake and Prescott, Arizona area. She married Manuel O. Sanchez in 1946 and they shared 62 and a half years together and raised six children in Mesa, Ariz. She will be loved and missed by her family and all who knew her. Mary is survived by her loving husband Manuel; and her children, Ruben (Linda) Sanchez, Yolanda Sanchez, Patricia (David) Beeby, Ronald (Candy) Sanchez, Roxann (Ruben) Sanchez and Mary (Paul) Sanchez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and her brother Julian Leyva and sister Paula Carillo. A Mass of Christian Burial in honor of Mary will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 151 Fluery Ave., in Prescott with burial to follow the services at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. Heritage Memory Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
