| Melvin R. Dukes Born in Browder, Kentucky on Dec. 21, 1928. Departed on Dec. 9, 2003 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz. Melvin Ray Dukes, 75, of Clarkdale died December 9. He was born December 9, 1928 in Browder, Kentucky. He was retired from the Yavapai County Highway Department. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Nina Dukes; three sons, Robert Dukes and Andy Dukes, both of Wickenburg, Jimmy Dukes of New River; his father Melvin Dukes of Turlock, California; a sister, Delores Sutton of Paulden; ten grandchildren and fifteen grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20 at the home of Muriel Barber, 4421 Hogan Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., at 1 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 203 Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
