Thomas (Tom) John Kenny

Thomas John Kenny passed away Sept. 27, 2012 at his home in Cottonwood, AZ.

He is survived by four daughters, Chrissy Mulvihill, Michelle Chacon, Allison Kenny, and Erin Kenny; seven brothers, Marty, Mike, Dan, James, Chris, Terry, and Kevin; four sisters, Patty, Mary Ellen, Joan, and Maureen; and his mother, Mary Kenny of Longmont, CO.

Tom was born in Brighton, CO on November 13, 1945 to Martin (deceased) and Mary Kenny.

The family moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1947 where Tom grew up and graduated from KOFA high school. He attended Northern Arizona University for three years before serving a brief time in the USMC then getting married and raising a family.

His working career included several years (1967-1972) as a supervisor at U-Haul International followed by some time (1973-1990) as a supervisor/manager for Arizona Public Service. After retiring, Tom most recently served as a delivery driver for Redi-Help and as a driver/partner with Arrow Express.

He had a lifelong love of golf excelling at the game in his younger years. It remained a passion with him long after his playing days were over.

Tom had many friends across the Verde Valley and a memorial service will be held in the near future to remember a life that will be greatly missed.
