Mary Deliah Eckenrod, 85, usual resident of Clarkdale, Arizona passed away in Camp Verde, Arizona on Sunday, July 23, 2006. Mary was born on August 18, 1920 in Rosemont, West Virginia to Ellsworth and Dosia (Conrad) Matthews. Mary was a life member of: V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 6739 in Camp Verde, Ariz.; American Legion Auxiliary Chapter #25 in Cottonwood, Ariz.; and Women of the Moose #1854 of Verde Valley, Ariz. Mary enjoyed sewing, and worked as a waitress in the food and beverage industry. Mary was the wife of Wilbert Frank (Bill) Eckenrod and the brother of E.B. Matthews. There are no local services.
