M. Jeanne Cox Born in Camp Verde, Ariz. on Sept. 27, 1929. Departed on Jan. 6, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Jeanne Cox, of Cottonwood passed away at her home January 6. She was born on Sept. 27, 1929 to Folkett A. and Grace (Dunken) Kircks. She will be missed by many including her husband of 56 years, Walter E. Cox; daughters, Janice Wilson, husband Reid, Nola Wesley, husband Jim; son Warren Cox, wife T.J.; and her pride and joy, her three grandchildren Erica and Victor Wilson and Joshua Salyer (Wesley) and a brother Lawrence Dircks of Payson, Arizona. Jeanne was born September 27, 1929 in Camp Verde and graduated from Camp Verde High School in 1947. She served as bookeeper and secretary to Camp Verde Superintendent and later as school secretary at Concho Elementary School. Jeanne will be remembered fondly and with love as one of the 'meanest people in Camp Verde'. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 17 in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood at 11 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, any memorial donation may be meade to the Cancer Center of Sedona, 3700 W. Hwy 89A, Sedona, Ariz., 86336.
