Born in Hammond, Indiana on Oct. 22, 1938.
Departed on Jan. 11, 2007 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz.

Lawrence Crosek, 68, resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away at home after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, January 11, 2007.

He was born October 22, 1938 to John and Barbara Crosek in Hammond, Indiana, where he grew up; attended and graduated from Hammond Tech. He attended his first year at the University of Washington. Following which, he resided in Griffith, Indiana for many years.

Lawrence and his wife, Mary Lou, moved to Clarkdale in 2001 following his retirement. He was a member of the Local 150 IUOE, and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood, Ariz.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Lawrence leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Mary Lou Crosek of Clarkdale, Ariz.; his son, Jim Crosek of Colorado; his brother Jerry Crosek, wife, Pattie of Indiana; his sisters, Barbara Johnson, husband, Jule also of Indiana, and Linda Smith, husband, Patrick of Tennessee; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
