| The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, November 01, 2012 John S. Pflueger, 83, of Cottonwood, died October 29, 2012. He was born November 2, 1928 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the son of Hansel and Ara (Stuart) Pflueger. He served his country in the Navy. Mr. Pflueger worked as Certified Public Accountant until his retirement. His hobbies included team roping, fishing and woodworking. His family reflects: “John’s pathway through our lives will not be forgotten”. He was preceded in death by a daughter Sharon De Bellis. Mr. Pflueger is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna K. Pflueger; son Michael Pflueger of Costa Rica and a daughter Kelly Kasper of Casa Grande;and three grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
