The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 9, 2006 Mary Helen Smith, 87, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born Feb. 9, 1918, in Kansas City, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Humboldt Bible Church, 2500 Old Black Canyon Highway, Humboldt, Ariz.. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any contributions be made in her memory to The Building Fund, Humboldt Bible Church, P.O. Box 296, Humboldt, Ariz., 86329. --------------------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, February 11, 2006 Mary Helen Smith, 87, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., went to be with the Lord on Feb. 7, 2006. She was born in Kansas Feb. 9, 1918. She moved to Arizona in 1954 with her four children. Her passion was to serve the Lord in many summer camp ministries, teaching Sunday school, elementary school in rural Arizona, and helping missionaries. Mary received her reward for a long and faithful service to God, family, friends, and thousands of children. Her passing is considered to be a joyous event and will be celebrated with a memorial service and time of fellowship to be held Saturday Feb. 10th, at 4 p.m., at The Humboldt Bible Church, 2500 Old Black Canyon Highway, Humboldt, Ariz., 86329. She is survived by Reverend Mike Smith (Sue), Chris Mullins (Larry), Wendy Diskin (Claude), and Greg Smith (Debbie); 12 grandchildren, and 22 and two-thirds great-grandchildren. Numerous friends will also miss her humor and compassionate spirit.
