Raymond Frank Divin, 72, resident of Cottonwood, Ariz. for 30 years, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008. He was born October 18, 1935 in McLennan County, Texas to Frank Raymond and Ruby Lee (Easter) Divin.

Raymond worked as a miner, a mechanic, and was the owner and operator of the Verde Valley Ice Company. He was also active in his community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

In his spare time he enjoyed wood carving.

Raymond leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Nona Divin of Cottonwood; two daughters, Patricia Ann (Joe) Catone of Chandler, Arizona, and Kitty (Ken) McFarlan of Taylor, Arizona; his sister, Christine Bransford of Lancaster, California; twelve grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, Ariz.
