| The Peoria Journal Star, Peoria, Illinois Thursday, June 27, 1996 Peoria, Ill. -- Julia E. Trapp, 97, formerly a Peoria resident for 87 years, died at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 1996, at Prescott Samaritan Care Center in Prescott, Ariz. Born Feb. 22, 1899, in Peoria, Ill. to F.W. and Mabel Wilson Erler, she married Clarence Trapp. He died in 1956. Surviving are two sons, Walter and Ted, both of Prescott; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Prescott United Methodist Church, where memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Dan Hurlbert will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley, Prescott, Ariz. 86303. |
