Everett Luke Howard

UPPER SANTAN - Everett Luke Howard, 63, of Upper Santan died Oct. 3, 2006 at Chandler Regional Hospital.

The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the District 4 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Wednesday at Upper Santan Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Ward Holder and the Rev. John Jacobs officiating.

The Rev. Howard was born Feb. 6, 1943 in Sacaton and was a son of Lucas Santos and Ella J. (Howard) Moore. He was a pastor and formerly lived in Montana.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann (Miller); two sons, Joseph P. Miller of Blackwater and Ed J. "Korn" Howard of Upper Santan; three daughters, Elaine M. Moyah of Upper Santan, Arlene F. Holder of Scottsdale and Elizabeth M. Howard of Sacaton; four brothers, Clayton Wahpeta Sr. of Santa Rosa, Philbert and Lyle Wahpeta of Goodyear Village and Carl Wahpeta of Salt River; two sisters, Doris Moore of Salt River and Rebecca Wahpeta of Mesa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Toby Howard.
