The Flint Journal, Flint, Michigan Wednesday, August 21, 1996 Shirley Pepper White, age 76, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 20, 1996 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 1996 at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott, Arizona. Interment in Prescott Cemetery. Mrs. White was born August 9, 1920 in Illinois, the daughter of Cork and Gretchen (Schwinn) Buchon. She had lived in Fenton for the past 20 years. She married Arthur E. White August 15, 1953. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton American Legion, and she was a life member of the VFW #822. She was a graduate of St. Marys College (Notre Dame). Surviving are husband, Arthur; sister, Elizabeth Debeki of Ariz.; many cousins; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernice and Ernie Watson of Phoenix, Ariz. |
