Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, George William Jackson, age 76, died on January 30, 1996 in Prescott, Arizona from complications following surgery on January 10, 1996.

Born August 15, 1919 in San Bernadino, California to John and Vivian Beebe Jackson. Married the love of his life, Peggie Lea Massey on November 19, 1941. Together they made a wonderful life for their three children, Susan Northington, Paul (Julie) Jackson and Chris (Kathy) Jackson, who survive him. George was a most remarkable man, giving much to his family and the world. A master inventor, he started Hydro Flame Corp. in 1951. With nothing more than a high school diploma, George attained the American dream for himself and his family. A veteran of World War II, he served his country with pride and loyalty. During the Reagan administration, he was chosen to serve on a presidential steering committee along with only 300 other businessmen from across the nation.

An active member of the Recreational Vehicle Industry of America, he served on the board of directors for 12 years. His entire life was dedicated to his family and his business. There never was a kinder, gentler man than George. His family and a multitude of friends will miss him terribly but we know he is in a wonderful place, probably feeding Fig Newtons to his little dog Tinkerbelle.

Also surviving are his grandchildren, Heidi, Dawn, Telisha, Heather and Casey, and great-grandchildren, Travis, Calli and Chelsea. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services Tuesday, February 6, 1996, 12:00 noon, Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the YWCA's Women in Jepardy, 322 E. Broadway, SLC, Ut., 84111.

Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that's how I'll remember you all, if you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.
