Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 28, 1942.
Departed on May 23, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Jerry Belter, 65, of Cottonwood died May 23. He was born June 28, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Jerry and Marie Belter. He attended Round Lake High School and went on to printing school to learn his trade as a lithographer.

He served in United States Army.

His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He enjoyed home remodeling and was a avid car enthusiast. He will be remembered by his family as a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Mr. Belter attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Mr. Belter is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kitty; a son, Tony Belter of N. Fort Meyer, Florida; a daughter, Denise Nows of New Baltimore, Mich.; a brother, Jim Belte, (Denise) of Sleepy Hollow, Ill.; four sisters, Marianne Martufi (and husband Grady) of Phoenix; Nancy Briles, (Mike) of Sun City, Ariz.; Virginia Thomas (Ray) of Glendal, Ariz. and Kathy Weber of Peoria, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass wll be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Camp Verde Wednesday, May 28 at 1 p.m.
