Hazel (Temple) Warren

Hazel Temple Warren died Feb. 5, 2006, at the Margaret T. Morris Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born May 12, 1903 ,in Chicago, Ill. Hazel was
102 years old.

Hazel married the love of her life, Edward J. Warren, whom she met when she worked as a stenographer in his law office, in 1921. They enjoyed 43 years of martial bliss until his death in 1964. Hazel was his "baby doll."

Hazel was an active member of the Catholic Church and a life member of the Art Institute of Chicago. She enjoyed shopping, especially for antiques. She was an extremely generous and loving person with her family and community, spending more than 20 years volunteering at a hospital in Illinois.

Hazel moved to Scottsdale, Ariz. in September of 1982 and then up to Prescott in 1998 to be with her family.

Hazel is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Cheesbrough-Hawley of Prescott; nieces Sandra (Barnard) Hall of Hudson, Wisc. and Kay (Dr. Bruce) Ruekberg of Alburqerque, N.M.; nephew, Robert (Erika) Cheesbrough of Kapaau, Hawaii; and grand-nieces Jennifer and Erin Hall and Carey Ruekberg.

A Celebration Funeral Mass for Hazel will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fluery, Prescott, followed by a
luncheon.

The family suggests memorials in Hazel's name to Margaret T. Morris, 878 Sunset Ave., Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
