The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 26, 2005 William (Bill) Randolph Heaton, born Feb. 20, 1919, at the Pocahontas Mine outside Mayer, Arizona, passed away Jan. 17, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz. Bill is survived by his sister, Sonya, (Clyde), McDonald, nephew Duke, (Lori), McDonald, great nieces and nephews Keegan, Cooper, Abbie, Ellie, niece Marcela, (Richard), Mach, great-nieces & nephews, James, Analis, and Jack. Bill grew up "cowboying" in Yavapai County & fought through North Africa, Italy, France and Germany during WWII. Bill traveled extensively throughout the world for Reliance Crane, moving nuclear power reactors. Bill enjoyed life to the fullest, epitomizing "work hard and play even harder". Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28th, 2005, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Ariz.
