Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 10, 1947.
Departed on Feb. 3, 2009 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz.

Marshall Ralph Vitale, 61, 0f Clarkdale died February 3. He was born July 10, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Dominick and Catherine Tryon Vitale.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as a staff sergeant in the Army.

He attended the University of the Arts. He was a realtor for Sexton Realty, Century 21.

Twenty years ago, Marshall planted the seed of his dream. Through love of life and spiritual awareness he was able to create his masterpiece, a work of art in itself, a place of peace, happiness and beauty. On his journey he has connected and brought laughter and wisdom to many people. None of whom should forget the light he carried inside for all of us.

He enjoyed art, painting and sculpture and creating art all around him. He will be remembered as the most loving, caring, giving and devoted man, husband and father the world could possibly offer.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Vitale; a son Adam Carlino; a daughter Valerie Carlino of Chandler, Ariz.; his mother Catherine Tryon of Cottonwood; brothers Russ (Cass) Vitale of New Jersey and Don Vitale of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service was held February 7 in the Westcott Funeral Home.
