She was born March 18, 1933 in Fonda, Iowa. She was a retired bookkeeper who enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and all outdoor activities. She was a member of the Gem Carvers of America. She leaves a daughter, Deborah K. Edwards of Gales Ferry, Conn.; three sons, Jeffrey Gene Smith, Mark Aren Smith and Richard Allen Smith, all of Cottonwood; her mother Verla Pooler of Glendale, Ariz.; two brothers, Dale Pooler of Montana and Dennis Pooler of Glendale, Ariz.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home is directing th arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
