Thomas Casey Knight

Thomas Casey Knight, 83, of Paradise Valley, AZ passed away on December 5, 2006.

Thomas was born on May l8, 1923 to Ian Joel and Alma Casey Knight in Lebanon, MO.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynette Williamson Knight, son, Darin (Cynthi) and their daughters, Gillian Alyssa, Danika Marlynn, and Larissa Ann Knight. He was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Lynette Knight.

Thomas was a Graduate of the University of Illinois where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He received his Master Degree from Arizona State University. He was an Industrial Designer and held several patents. He was a Lifetime Member of the Industrial Designer Society of America and a founding member of the Organization's Chapter at Arizona State University.

He was a W. W. II Pilot, a 50 year member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry 32 Degree, St. Louis, Mo and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine, Springfield, MO, Scottsdale Bible Church, and served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Parkinson's Foundation. He was an employee of U-Haul (Amerco) and a retired Boeing employee.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was a good teacher and inspiration to those involved. His recent joy was to teach his grand daughters how to draw.
