Linden B. Dial

Linden B. Dial, 82, passed away on August 12, 2004 in Mesa, AZ.

He was born on February 15, 1922 in Shelley, Idaho.

He worked as a machinist in the Naval Shipyards in San Pedro during WWII. He graduated from ASU Business College with a degree in Accounting. After receiving his CPA, he was made a partner with the firm of Henry and Horne in Mesa. He became the city auditor for Mesa until he retired. He was a member of J.C.'s, Sertoma and Rotary Clubs.

Linden was a lifetime active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He fulfilled three full-time missions for the church. He worked as a temple worker for over forty years. He held multiple ward and stake callings including: Church Auditor and Stake Sunday School President.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Esther Fuller Dial; two sons: Garth (Patti) and Marc (Janien); two daughters: Jetta Fairbanks (Paul) and Gayle Mangino (Joseph); 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also by one brother and four sisters.

The Funeral Service was held on Monday August 16, 2004 at the LDS Solomon Ward, 977 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa. Interment will be at the City of Mesa Cemetery. Meldrum Mortuary handled the arrangements, www.meldrummortuary.com
