Scott William Lindsay

The world has lost a truly good man.

Scott William Lindsay, 53, passed away in a car accident Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.

Born Feb. 11, 1959, Scott was raised by loving parents Joseph and June Lindsay in Heber City, Utah.

A cowboy with a heart of gold, Scott was always there to help someone in need with sound advice or whatever it took.

"To have a friend, you must be a friend," and Scott truly was a wonderful friend.

Scott graduated from Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah. He then served a two-year LDS mission in Nagoya, Japan, and attended Brigham Young University and ASU. He was a land appraiser by profession.

Scott married the love of his life, Janell Marie Bigelow, in 1996. Janell tragically passed away just two years later, leaving Scott and their 1-year-old daughter, Isabel.

Scott was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Annie (Allred) and Isabel; stepchildren John and Breanna (Willahan); and granddaughter Lilly; as well as an extended family and friends who will never forget him.

A fund has been set up to help Scott's 15-year-old daughter, Isabel, who is now left without a parent. You may donate at any Wells Fargo Bank under the account name, "Isabel Lindsay Donation Fund."
