| Winterset Madisonian Winterset, Iowa March 20, 1996 Thelma Colvin, Arizona Thelma M. Colvin, 87, of Sun City West, Ariz., died March 12, 1996 of a heart ailment. Services were held March 16, 1996, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the Rev. Don Frank officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery. She was born in Peru to Grover and Ethel (Emerson) Mease on May 2, 1908. She married Harold C. Colvin in St. Charles. She was a secretary with the (illegible) Law Firm in Des Moines and a certified medical assistant in a medical office before retiring. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother; and a sister. Surviving relatives include a son, Jay Colvin of Sun City West, Ariz.; a brother, Jack Mease of Winterset; and three grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. |
