Timothy Paul Sarnecki

Timothy Paul Sarnecki, 47, of Reston, VA, died last week (Dec. 26, 2005).

Sarnecki is the son of Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Al Sarnecki of Fredericksburg. His mother is the former Ruth Bierschwale.

He was born Sept. 16, 1958, in East Chicago, IN, and attended several elementary schools and three high schools, graduating from Leavenworth High School in Leavenworth, KS, as a member of the Honor Society. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in English and linguistics.

Sarnecki was employed by the Department of Homeland Security as a Shift Commander in the National Targeting Center.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and CDR (Ret.) B.B. Giannotti, of Austin, and a brother and sister-in-law, LTC Philip and Tracie Sarnecki, of Montclair, VA.

A memorial service is planned Saturday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Ensrude officiating. Private interment of the cremains will be at a later date. Schaetter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

RESTON, Va. - Timothy Paul Sarnecki of Reston, Va., passed away at the age of 47 years.

Timothy Sarnecki is survived by his parents, Col. "Ret." Al and Ruth Bierschwale Sarnecki of Fredericksburg; sister and spouse, Pamela and CDR "Ret." B.B. Giannotti of Austin; brother and spouse, LTC Philip and Tracie Sarnecki of Montclair, Virginia.

Memorial services for Timothy Sarnecki will be on Saturday, February 4, at 3 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Michael Ensrude officiating.

Private interment of the cremains will be held at a later date.

Those who desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the charity of your choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
