Eva Marie Setka, age 85, entered into rest December 19, 2005 at her home in Wheatfields, Arizona. She was born on May 17, 1920 on the family farm in Wheatfields. Eva graduated from ASU in 1941 and taught in both public and Catholic schools for 36 years. She was a teacher in Eloy, Peoria, Globe, Miami and at the Holy Angels School. She was the first lay person to teach at the Holy Angels School in Globe. She was an active member of the Croation Lodge. She was a life long member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church where she taught catechism. Left behind in loving memory are her brother Steve Setka of Phoenix, and her sisters Nellie Setka of Wheatfields and Katie (Ralph) Baskett of Peoria, Arizona. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents Andrew and Katie (Sisevich) Setka. Brothers Matt and Martin Setka, sisters Rose Carlson and Annie Koury. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Holy Angels School, 1300 East Cedar Street, Globe, AZ 85501. Rosary Wednesday and the funeral at the Holy Angels Church on Thursday.
