| Carolyn B. Dennis, 65, of Mesa, passed away March 9, 2004. She obtained her Teachers Certificate from Ohio State University, Graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts, and went on to obtain her Masters Degree from ASU. Carolyn was a teacher at the Ben Franklin Elementary School in the Mesa School District. She is survived by her loving husband James R. Dennis, 3 sons Gregory, Andrew and Douglas, a Grandson Ty and Sister Jo Ann Ross. A memorial visitation was held Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at Melcher's Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive. Funeral Mass Wednesday April 14, at St Bridgets Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Rd. Interment Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 E. Baseline Road. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Carolyn Dennis Children's Literacy Memorial Fund, Franklin West 236 S. Sirrine, Mesa, Az 85210, Attention Kate Palmer.
