Mitsuko (Muraki) Kales

Mitsuko Muraki Kales of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away on Feb. 4, 2009. Mitsuko was born Nov. 25, 1948 in MIE Prefecture, Japan.

She graduated from St. Agnes College in Kyoto. Mitsuko met her husband, Ross Kales, in 1970 while working for a company in Osaka, Japan.

Mitsuko loved traveling and, together with Ross, visited countries all over the world. She was also an avid gardener, an excellent cook and enjoyed quilting. She and her husband moved to Prescott Valley six years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed living in this beautiful environment. Mitsuko worked in medical records at Cedars Cardiovascular in Prescott.

She will be remembered by her many friends for her kindness, intelligence, beauty, grace and charm.

There will be a memorial service for Mitsuko at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at the Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel, 8480 E. Valley Road in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, Mitsuko's husband suggests that contributions be made in her memory to Hospice Family Care at the Crossing on Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Ariz.
