Margaret Scott MacKintosh Hutmacher - 95 Blessed years of age, passed peacefully and went to rejoin the love of her life - her late husband, John 'Jack' Hutmacher on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from her home in the Village of Oak Creek she loved so dearly in Rancho Rojo. Margaret was continually attended by her loving family, care givers and friends as she passed to be with her Lord.

Margaret is survived by her loving son John and wife Margo, their son Johnny, wife Nicole; her (Margaret's) daughter Margaret Jane Carroll and Margaret's loving sons; Steven and Michael - along with their families, all of the Pacific Northwest. Margaret was preceded in death by husband John Joseph as well her mother and father, Alex and Margaret MacKintosh of Detroit, Michigan.

Margaret, one of the pillars of the Church of the Red Rocks, had decided to slow down a bit from her busy life as a wife, mother and homemaker and enjoyed the support of her friends, church, and her outreach. With A big smile for everyone, Her recreational passions included a great chat with dear friends, a devout love of all God's creatures, and stimulating political discussion to solve those changes that so needed attention. Her long term support of the Verde Valley Republican Women's Club and Verde Valley Caregivers were favourites. Always a smile for everyone, a word of advice, and a deep love for her friends and family were founded in her strong and valued upbringing. We will dearly miss her warmth and joy!

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service is scheduled Thursday, 8th May, at 3:00 p.m. under the guidance of Dr. George Ault, Pastor, the Church of The Red Rocks in Sedona, Ariz. followed by Mom's final rest at the Church Columbarium. The Piped Tattoo will be rendered by the Royal Black Watch Commander in residence.

In lieu of floral tributes; donations for the Verde Valley Caregivers are respectfully requested through the Church office.
