Ansurio Macias Morales went to be with the Lord he loved on Feb. 5, 2009. He was born Sept. 12, 1922 in Sonora, Arizona. He was a military police officer in the US Army and served during World War II. Mr. Morales leaves behind his wife and "Honey" of 57 years, Eva; daughters, Viola (Bobby) Dodge, Melissa (Sam) Odom, Patsy (Stan) Brady and Elisa Spangler; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Guadalupe Morales and sister, Amparo Vanegas, and he was preceded in death by his brother, Abran Morales. Services for Mr. Morales were held Monday, Feb. 9, at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Kearny. Interment followed at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mesa. |
