Born in Potosi, Wisconsin on Oct. 29, 1932
Departed on Feb. 28, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Richard Neal Taft, 73, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006. He was born October 29, 1932 in Potosi, Wisconsin.

Richard served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and earned the Bronze Star and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He moved to Phoenix, Arizona on April 7, 1958 where he raised his family.

Richard was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years.

He survived by his two sons, David of Arlington, Texas and Daniel of Peoria, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Connie and grandchildren, Matthew and Valeria, also of Peoria, Arizona.
