Departed on April 16, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Betty Jane Youngblood passed away on April 16,2005 in Cottonwood, Arizona, at the age of 78. Betty was born in Alta Loma, Calif. on April 19, 1926 to Herbert and Nellie (Canup) Nagel.

Betty grew up in various areas of California with her parents, her brother Joe and her sisters Sunny, Irene, Mary and Billie Lou. Her fondest memories as a yong woman were of time spent in Yosemite and San Francisco.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill in 2002, who she shared over 50 years of marriage with.

Betty's real pride was their two children Billie Lynn and James Albert.

She was affectionately called 'Mimi' by her grandchildren and great granddaughters. Grandchildren from her daugher Billie Lynn include Wende (husband Erik), Penny (husband Neal) and Christopher and great granddaughters Ryann and Morgan Jayne. Grandchildren from her son Jim and his wife Norma include Jimmy, Billy, Mike, Jessica, Crystal, Michelle and Courtney. Betty is also survived by her two sisters Sunny Poirier and Billie Lou Kesse.

Betty shared a close, loving relationship with her family. She was a dedicated Jehovahs Witness for the past 50 years and enjoyed meeting regularly at the Kingdom Hall with her friends. She looked forward to Jehovah's promise at John 5:28, 29 and Psalms 37: 29, when she would be reunited with her husband, parents, brother and sisters in an earthly paradise.

Betty's hobbies included crossword puzzles and scrabble. She was an avid watcher of The Price is Right, Raymond and Friends and she loved a good mystery. She had a real sweet tooth, especially for chocolate and she could eat peanut butter on just about anything.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and 'Mimi.' She will be geatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Private graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona on April 20, 2005.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1310 Hwy 260, Cottonwood, Ariz. on Saturday April 23 at 2:00 p.m. with encouraging words from Brother Frank Shaefer.
