DREW, George E. After a brief battle with cancer, George E. Drew died Monday morning surrounded by his family. George was a loving husband to Rosalie, his wife of 47 years and a wonderful role model for his children and grandchildren. He was a kind & generous man who loved spending time with family & friends and will be deeply missed. George served in the Merchant Marines for 2 years and the AZ Air National Guard for 36 years. After retirement, George & Rosalie built a home and moved up to Showlow where he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Preceded in death by his father, George and mother, Elma G and daughters Carolyn and Beverly. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie & Children, Linda (Richard), Cathy, Susan (Todd), Tom (Cari) and Lila (Ron), & 15 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
