The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 25, 2007 Lloyd Caudle On April 20, 2007, Lloyd Caudle lost his battle with cancer. He was born on Sept. 19, 1925, to Floyd and Minnie Caudle in Tennessee. He spent his childhood years in Indiana and joined the Navy after graduation, to serve four years as a ship's cook. After leaving the Navy, he held various job positions but finally decided his life's career choice would be with a public utility company in California. He worked there 30 years. During the years since his retirement, he has been actively involved in volunteerism of various kinds. He drove seven years for the DAV in two different states. He served on the HOA Board five years where he, until recently, resided. His latest and favorite volunteer involvement was with the Prescott Valley Police Dept. Lloyd was best known for his gentle nature and generosity and will be missed by all who knew him. He drew a lot of comfort from the many cards, calls and letters received during his illness and thanks everyone who remembered him. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; a son, Randal Caudle; two grandchildren, of San Carlos, California; and three brothers, Odis Caudle, Hubert Caudle and Bill Caudle. Lloyd will be interred at the Prescott National Cemetery Columbarium with full Military Honors. No other services are planned at this time; however, a Celebration of Lloyd's life is being planned for family at a future date. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
