Floyd M. Glover Jr., age 60, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on February 27, 2003 at 7:50 P.M. He was surrounded by his mother, Jean Glover, daughters Dani Spivey and Angel Petersen, son's in-law Erin Spivey and Scott Petersen, grandchildren Darian and Noah Spivey and Mason Petersen, and his companion Dorothy Frazee.

He is also survived by his sister Judy Campbell, daughter Nikki Caruso, stepchildren Ed Carlson, Rene Hart, Michelle Shelton, and several grandchildren.

Floyd worked in the heating and air conditioning industry for over 40 years. In 1989, he started his own company, Glover Air Conditioning.

He was a champion skydiver, an avid hunter and fisherman. His passion in his later years was golf and sharing his love of the game with his "Baby" Darian. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #20, as well as a member of the El Zaribah Shrine motorcycle unit. He was a kind, caring man who will be missed by so many.

Memorial services were held Sunday, March 9, 2003 at the El Zaribah Shrine Temple, 552 N. 40th St. Phoenix, AZ.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of the Valley, in particular Jenn McDougal and Colleen Koski.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Hospice of the Valley or El Zaribah Shrine Children's Travel Fund.
