Margaret M. Gray, 93, died Nov. 9, 2007, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born on April 8, 1914, in Litchville, N.D., to Edward and Martha (Sweeney) Blake.

Margaret married Elliot Gray on Dec. 27, 1939, in Sanborn, N.D. They moved from Grand Forks, N.D., to Prescott Valley, Ariz., in 1992.

Margaret was active in Catholic Daughters, The World Apostolate of Fatima and the Ladies Guild of St. Germaine in Prescott Valley.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and was especially proud of her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by one daughter, Joan Cromeenes (Dennis) of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren, Jill Bergovoy (Kraig Hanson) and Jeff Bergovoy (Lisa), both of Pt. Charlotte, Fla.; four great-grandsons, Tanner, Hunter, Blake and Cole; two sisters, Donna Peterson of Litchville, N.D., and Paula Marie of Valley City, N.D.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott; her parents; two children; five sisters; and two brothers.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church Prescott Valley, Ariz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 3800 N. Central Ave, Suite 700, Phoenix, Ariz,. 85012 or Prescott Samaritan Village, 1030 Scott Drive, Prescott, Ariz., 86314.
