| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 17, 2009 Daniel Floyd Sims, 63, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born March 17, 1946, in Yreka, Calif., passed away Feb. 16, 2009, at the V.A. Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. A private cremation will take place at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley with services to be announced at a later time. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements. ------------------------------------ Daniel Floyd Sims 3/17/1946 - 2/16/2009 Daniel Floyd Sims died Monday, February 16, 2009 at the V.A. Medical Center, Hospice, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born March 17, 1946 in Yreka, California; the son of R.V. Lesley and Mary Louise (Allman) Sims. Daniel was 63 years old. Daniel was a member of Team Fishel and enjoyed hunting, prosecting, fishing and cooking. He was most proud of his family and loved his "toys". Daniel is survived by his sons Scott and his wife, Marsha Sims of Bend, Oregon, and Todd Sims of Hillsburo, Oregon; grandchildren Samatha Jo, Austin, Karley, Shannon and Webb. Services will be held at a later date in Oregon. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona. |
