The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, March 31, 2007 Philip Ray (P.R.) Temple Philip Ray (P.R.) Temple was born February 1, 1913, in England, Arkansas, the seventh of 13 children, passed away March 9, 2007, in Prescott, Arizona. Mr. Temple moved to Prescott in 1945 with his wife, Eva Temple and young son Philip Temple Jr. P.R. retired from the United States Post Office where he was a mail carrier in the Prescott area for many years. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. P.R. was known for his special way of telling you what he thought about something. He was very dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren and was always there to help. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Eva Mae; his son Philip; and all 12 of his siblings. P.R. is survived by his two sons, Terry Temple, and Mark Temple and his wife Laurie. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brian and his wife Liz, Jason and his wife Angela, Brooke and her husband Frank, Cooper and Carson; as well as six great-grandchildren, Cooper, Evin, Jackson, Holden, Ella Mae and Micah. A memorial service will be at Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations are being received at Pinecrest Adult Care Home, 1106 Dixon Drive, Prescott, Ariz., 86303. The family entrusted the arrangements to Hampton Funeral Home.
