Darryl Dean David, 57 years old, a resident of Rimrock, Ariz. passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in his home in Rimrock.

He was born on Oct. 11, 1951, to Elva J. and Erma Dean David in Long Beach, Calif. Darryl was the beloved husband to Annie (Leanne) Jackson David, married January 2006.

He is survived by his brother, Michael David, and his three nephews, Gabriel David in Cottonwood, Raphael David in Cornville, and Lucas David in Phoenix.

Darryl was a well known in the Sedona as the Master Gardner at ACE Hardware in Sedona, Ariz. He was a popular and well-known actor with the Southwest Theatre Group that performed during the summers in Tlaquepaque Village, in Sedona, Ariz. One of his well-known characters was Puck, in "Midsummer's Night's Dream."

After a long and valiant struggle, he succumbed to colon cancer. Darryl was a member of the Science of Mind Church and services will be held on Feb. 28, 2009, at 1 p.m., at the Creative Life Center,, 333 Schnebley Hill Road, Sedona, Ariz., 86336.
