The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 28, 2006 Born an only child to Clyde and Gladys (Fravel) Mcginnis on Sept. 26, 1931, in Oklahoma and raised in Arkansas City, Ark., Patricia Jean Wilhelmsen met and married H. K. (Kemp) Wilhelmsen while attending Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas. Jean and Kemp made their home in Prescott in 1960, with Kemp working as trust officer with First National Bank of Arizona and in 1962 opening his law practice in which he was active until his retirement in 2004. Jean found peace passing away on Feb. 16, 2006, remaining in the family home she and Kemp maintained on 1500 Linden Road since 1966. Although active in Chapter Y of P.E.O., Sew-n-Sew and The Smoki People, her greatest reward in life was her family and friends. With an acerbic wit and her boundless energy to help others, Jean led a full and happy life. Although she will be missed, her memory will bring a smile and warmth to those who knew her. Jean is survived by husband, Kemp; sons Win an Paul o fDurango, Colo., and Dave of Prescott. The family held a private memorial and wish for all who knew her simply to pause and think fondly of her.
