| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2006 Kate E. Wright, age 86, formerly of Sun City West, died Feb. 14, 2006, in Houston, Mo. A native of Mo., She moved to Arizona in 1984, from New Orleans, La. She was a graduate of Washington University Louis and was a child welfare worker before her marriage. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Ikebana International, and AAUW. She was a volunteer for the American Diabetes Assoc. since 1963, was president of the New Orleans Chapter for two years and on the Louisiana State Affiliate Board. She was the Sun City Support Chairman for from years and on the Arizona State Affiliate Board. She is survived by her children, Richard V. Wright, of Hayden, Idaho, and Lisa K. Wright, Licking, Mo.; daughter-in-law Terry and granddaughter Adrianna. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Boone Creek Baptist Church near Licking, Mo., under direction of Fox Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Assoc., Arizona Affiliate, 2328 W. Royal Palm Road, Suite D, Phoenix, Ariz., or First Baptist Church, 17419 Conquistador Drive, Sun City, Ariz.
